Only at nap and bedtime though and only in his bed. We started cutting the tip off it it and told him it was broken and while he wasn't okay with it, it did make it easier to get rid of. It didn't work for him anymore.Karlisehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17109391615835747279noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8463832956830525523.post-78393459065945170982008-06-13T17:17:00.000-04:002008-06-13T17:17:00.000-04:00We are going to have to get Grace's pacifier away ...We are going to have to get Grace's pacifier away from her soon. I decided to focus on the potty training first before we take something else away. She's a little attached to diapers. So far she uses the pacifier at night, but every now and then she'll find a long lost pacifier under the sofa and it's a fight getting it from her. Good luck with your venture.Kandeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02033807374535174257noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8463832956830525523.post-48736730034661910902008-06-13T16:15:00.000-04:002008-06-13T16:15:00.000-04:00Good Luck...I didn't have to deal with the pacifie...Good Luck...I didn't have to deal with the pacifier issue, but breaking our kids from any habit is not an easy task...LOL!Debbiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05022109058685695409noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8463832956830525523.post-30892250288035228332008-06-13T09:48:00.000-04:002008-06-13T09:48:00.000-04:00Karen,That's a great idea! Emily was about 2.5 when she gave hers up and the way it happened was that a stranger in the airport told her that she was too big for a pacifier and told her to give it to him. And she did. After that, whenever she asked for her pacifier, we just reminded her that she had given it to that man, and she's say, "Oh," and forget all about her pacifier.<BR/>If we have Katie leave her pacifier out for Santa (or maybe the birthday fairy?) it'll work out the same way.Melodiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17597822422886281763noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8463832956830525523.post-68661093095011547292008-06-13T09:04:00.000-04:002008-06-13T09:04:00.000-04:00Well, if it makes you feel better Tyler STILL has ...Well, if it makes you feel better Tyler STILL has his pacifier (only at night). I'm not sure how old I was, but my mom talked me into giving it to Santa.Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07344096411745720889noreply@blogger.com
