Busy Day with eBay

I've been pretty busy today with my eBay auctions. Two of my items didn't sell, but I'm not disappointed because my items that did sell went for a good bit of money. I knew that the shoes were going to get big numbers, but they weren't my best sellers. Amazingly, I earned the most money from Sarah and Emily's old Girl Scout books and uniforms.

So, I've been sending invoices, printing packing slips and postage labels, and packaging up my items for shipping. All.Day.Long. Now, I need to schedule my carrier pick-up for tomorrow and I'll be all set until I receive more payments. Hopefully, these guys will pay soon and I won't have to send them payment reminder messages. I hate to do that.

Oh, and speaking of eBay, I received a couple of cute outfits I won on eBay in the mail today. Katie absolutely LOVED them. She couldn't wait to try them on. And after she had tried them all on, she kept taking off her clothes and putting the new outfits back on.

I took some photos of her in the new outfits to send to Phil since he's still out of town. He was skeptical about them when he saw the words "purple fur" on the invoices. But, once he saw the photos, he agreed that they are definitely cute on Katie. What's your opinion?




And, yes, I do know that Katie will not have many opportunities to wear the coat down here in south Florida, but for the $5 I paid for it, if she only wears it once or twice, it's still worth it.

Liquidation Sale Update

Well, I spent all day working on it, and as of right now, I have 15 items up for bid on eBay. And, no, they're not all shoes! LOL.

That Was Easy

I am so happy right now. Every single one of my eBay auctions sold. Technically, one of the auctions doesn't end until tomorrow because it was a last minute add-on, but I have more bids on that item than anything else I had up for auction.

So, how much money did I make? Well, it wasn't much. Only about $50. But, considering that I only had ten items up for auction, and most of them were Emily's used school uniforms and Katie's outgrown shoes, it's not too shabby of a take. It's way more than I would have made off of ten items at a garage sale, and I got to sit in the comfort of my air-conditioned family room while I sold them instead of sweating my a$$ off outside in the heat.

Thanks to my good fortune on eBay, I am now encouraged to find more goodies to sell. It certainly makes purging your unwanted and unneeded stuff a lot easier when you can get rid of it and make money off of it so easily.

My liquidation sale is going well so far, considering that I haven't been able to get very many items up on eBay yet. But the ones that are up already, are doing well. I have bids on a few items and many watchers on the others. I expect to receive more bids tomorrow as my auctions near the end.

Dear Ebay Seller

What more do you want from me? I paid you immediately (seriously, the moment the auction ended), and even though I was not 100% happy with what I received, I left you positive feedback. Now you are withholding positive feedback from me because you are "hurt" that I wasn't 100% happy? WTF?!

Maybe you would have preferred to not sell your item? It's not like you had any other bidders, you know. And it's not like I vented about what was wrong with the item when I left your feedback. I sent you the message privately. I simply wanted you to know that in the future, you might want to mention that the doll you are selling is in serious danger of losing her head and limbs in the near future. Some other buyers might not have been as accepting of a flaw like this.

But you just go ahead and feel as "hurt" as you want. Don't worry about me. I won't be losing anymore sleep over your reneging on your end of the feedback bargain.
