I feel sick right now. And it has nothing to do with any actual ailments that I may have. I feel sick because I just spent money on concert tickets. I hate spending money. I especially hate spending money on myself. I don't know why it makes me feel this way, but it does.
I guess somewhere in my mind, I have this fear that if I spend any money on myself, I'm going to regret it. Like if I spend $100 on concert tickets, we're all of a sudden not going to have enough money to eat for the next week. Even though I know we have plenty of money in the bank, I can't help feeling this way.
That's must be why I never buy myself new clothes and why I go six months between hair appointments.
