Phil came home from work around 11:00 this morning so we could go together to vote. We loaded Katie up in her stroller and walked the block and a half over to our polling place. When we got there, there was no line and no waiting. The only thing we had to wait for was our after-voting free hot dogs.
Katie even got in on the free hot dog action this year. She ate it up like a big girl.
And here she is shoving the last bit of hot dog into her mouth at home.
I feel good about my vote. I voted my conscience and for what is best for our country as a whole. I know I could have done more - I could have donated more money or volunteered my time at my local party headquarters - but what's done is done now. All I can do is hope and pray that enough people can see through the hype to what is true and good and vote that way.
