Clean, Read, or Sleep?

Britney Spears (LOL, Holly!) just left with the toddler, and I am all alone now. What should I do with myself? I'm super tired from lack of sleep over the past couple of nights, but I also really want to finish reading Eclipse so I can get started on Breaking Dawn. And, of course, there's a messy house that needs some attention, too. What to do, what to do? (And no, Phil, I don't want your opinion on the subject!)

I think a nap is definitely in order before any cleaning begins, that way I'll have more energy to clean with. And I think I'd feel better about taking that nap if I have at least gotten a couple more chapters under my belt, right? So, I guess the plan would be to read a bit, then sleep a bit, and then hopefully, clean a bit. Wish me luck!

I'd pick "read" every time. Those books were pretty addictive. I can't wait to hear what you think of Breaking Dawn. I have a big post about it from when I finished it, but don't look for it until you've finished reading as my post is full of spoilers (has tons of spoiler warnings, so don't worry if you stumble upon it unaware).

Have you seen the fake Twilight preview? I posted it on my blog. It's sooo funny! http://whatacard.blogspot.com/2008/08/for-all-you-twilight-fans.html

Hope you have a good day!!

Good luck!!!

On the nap that is - at least one of us deserves it, and it doesn't look like I'm the lucky one, today.

Your girls are gorgeous! (hope that doesn't sound as weird as I think it does - I'm a SAHM to two sweet boys!! I promise)

Your plan sounds good!!

Why is it, that when us mothers have a couple of RARE hours to ourselves that we feel obliged to clean?

I say read & sleep & enjoy :D

You sound like me, once I start a book I'm addicted to it until I finish. If I'm not reading it, I'm thinking about it!
