About Vera

So, you may be wondering what prompted me to suddenly run out and get myself a Vera Bradley bag. Well, after walking into Andrea's house for the Easter party on Sunday and seeing this...

I realized that it must be some sort of unwritten requirement of my mom's group to own at least one. I had seen the other mom's carrying them and I liked the looks of them, but I had just not gotten around to researching them. But, seeing them all together, lined up like that, just drove the message home.

Then, when I got home from the party, my aunt came over to see me, and she brought Sarah a little gift to celebrate her becoming a woman last month. This is what she got her.

So, I couldn't let my daughter have one of these lovely bags while I went around without one, could I? Nah, I didn't think so.

Your daughter is one lucky girl. I WANT A VERA! WAAAAAAAAAAA

What gets me is when I see kids at elementary school with Vera backpacks! Can you say spoiled! LOL

Totally spoiled! And I don't remember getting any special gifts for "becoming a woman." Why does she deserve a freaking $40 purse for that??
