I almost forgot to mention my other good news. When I was talking to Emily's school principal today, she said she was looking forward to having Katie and me back at the school in a few years (when Katie starts kindergarten). I told her that I hoped we were able to get a spot in the school, since we are not zoned for the school (they do a School Choice Lottery type thing for students who want to attend a school that they aren't zoned for). She then told me that if Katie doesn't win a spot in the school, to just come and see her and she would make sure that Katie gets in.
So, Yay!! I don't have to plot and scheme anymore to make sure that Katie gets to go to the school I want her to go to. Woo-hoo!
