Two Down

I only have one little girl left now. I should have known from the size of her boobs that it would happen soon, but I was really hoping it wouldn't. What am I talking about, you ask? Well, I'll tell you. Emily got her period today.

Shocked? She's only ten. Okay, so she'll be eleven in a month and a half, but she's still young. Sarah only got her period a few months ago, and she's two years older. I was nearly fourteen when it happened for me. I'm starting to think there might be something to this "hormones in the milk" thing.

Do you think that if I switch Katie to organic milk now, I can push it back a couple of years for her?

You'd have to do all organic dairy products & meats/chicken since those hormones are hidden in the peskiest places! Wow - she's on her way to womanhood now! So how has the first one been?? Cramping? Pain? I remember mine was a living Hell - 7 days long and super heavy, horrible stomach cramps & that was before products like Midol or Motrin were available. I was in the school nurse's office every day at school with a hot water bottle on my stomach.

Congrats to Emily!
I'm not looking forward to this with my girls. I guess I need to start thinking about preparing Erin for this since she will be 9 in Dec.

I have the feeling my girls will start close to one another too.
