Melodie, are you treating the water or just using straight tap water? Maybe there is too much amonia. You can get a strip test kit at the pet store and it will tell you if all your levels are in normal range. Good luck with the next round of fish!
He said he did everything the same as he did it last time for the beta, but I really don't believe him. I'll have him test the water next time before adding any fish to it.
