Swimsuit Shopping

Yesterday, we ended up going to the mall to shop for swimsuits for Sarah and Emily. I had planned on ordering their swimsuits online from Old Navy, but Sarah started complaining about not wanting to wear a tankini because they "don't fit her right", and she "really, really" wanted to get bikinis instead. So, we hopped into the car and headed to Old Navy so the girls could try on the swimsuits.

I told the girls that there was no way that I would be ordering bikinis for them unless I was sure that they would fit properly. No daughter of mine is going to be going around with a bikini top that doesn't fit her properly and cover all of the necessary areas. After trying everything on, Emily decided not to get a bikini and instead got two of the swimsuits I had already picked out for her online. Sarah only found one bikini that she liked, so she got it plus two tankinis that she didn't deem "horrible."

I never would have guessed that Sarah would pick out the pink swimsuit. She's not really a pastel or pink kind of girl anymore. But, she said that once her summer tan comes back, the pale colors will show it off quite nicely.
